The group developed its sound through a series of independent releases, building an international audience with a relaxed approach that blends pop, electronic textures and dreamlike arrangements.
Among the band's best-known songs are “Show Me How,” “Lauren” and “Tailwhip.” Albums including Oncle Jazz and Untourable Album have helped establish Men I Trust as a favorite among listeners drawn to detailed, mellow songwriting. Their music's electronic elements make the Pioneertown date a natural fit for the event's Techno / electronic listing.

Men I Trust Indio reviews
We arrived at 6:45 to secure good seats but ended up waiting over 2 hours for the show to begin. The doors opened at 6pm, with the show scheduled to start at 8pm, but it actually began at 9pm. We, along with others, were slightly irritated by the delay. The first few songs did not impress me; I found them too old and slow, which was disappointing. This was the first time in 5 or 6 Men I Trust performances that I felt let down. The casino was uncomfortably hot, leading us to leave the event early due to the difficulty in breathing. While hesitant to recommend this event, I ultimately agreed based on my past positive experiences with Men I Trust and giving them the benefit of the doubt.
